20 Scholarship for Nigerian Students to Study in Germany

His Excellency Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, has accepted a special scholarship offer from the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in Berlin, Germany, for 20 Nigerian students. This gesture was announced at a dinner hosted by Lars Windhorst, a German entrepreneur and co-founder of Sapinda Group, in Berlin.

According to the press statement  from the office of Alkasim Abdulkadir, Special Assistant to the Honorable Minister on Media and Communications Strategy says, Ambassador Tuggar expressed gratitude to Lars Windhorst for the scholarship opportunity, highlighting the benefits of shared learning and experiences for the beneficiaries. He praised ESMT’s reputation as one of the best business schools in Germany and Europe.

The Minister also extended an invitation to the dignitaries to invest in Nigeria, emphasizing the country’s enormous investment opportunities and microeconomic reforms under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration. He stressed the need for the Global North to invest in Africa’s infrastructural development, moving beyond geopolitical considerations.

ESMT Berlin, a non-profit private institution, offers various programs, including Masters, MBA, and PhD programs, as well as executive education. The school is accredited by top international accrediting agencies and is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Ambassador Tuggar concluded that the scholarship opportunity would significantly contribute to the development of knowledge and skills for Nigeria’s development drive, benefiting qualified Nigerian students.
