APPLY NOW: UK VISA SERVICES LAUNCH AT NEW PREMIUM CENTRES IN ENUGU AND PORT HARCOURT

Abuja, Nigeria — Nigerian residents can now submit their UK visa applications and enrol biometrics at two new Premium Application Centres recently opened by VFS Global:
• Omedel Luxury Hotel, Enugu
• Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt

Appointments can be booked via: https://visa.vfsglobal.com/nga/en/gbr/

These centres expand the UK’s visa service footprint in Nigeria, adding to the existing Visa Application Centres in Abuja, Ikeja (Lagos), and Victoria Island (Lagos), which have been operational since November 2024.

With Nigeria ranking among the top four nationalities globally for UK visit visas — accounting for 6% of total applications — the demand is high. In 2024 alone, the UK received over 230,000 visa applications from Nigerian nationals across all routes.

Rt Hon Lord David Hanson, Minister of State at the UK Home Office, said:
“We are pleased to reopen the Premium Visa Application Centres in Port Harcourt and Enugu. These new centres provide greater convenience for applicants in Enugu and Rivers State and reflect the strength of the UK–Nigeria relationship.”

Alok Singhal, Head of Sub-Saharan Africa, VFS Global, added:
“We’re delighted to provide additional, convenient touchpoints for UK visa customers in Nigeria. These new premium centres in Enugu and Port Harcourt offer the same comfort, convenience, and best-in-class services our customers have come to expect from Abuja and Lagos.”

Premium customers benefit from:
• Document upload assistance
• Application status notifications
• Courier return of documents
• “Keep My Passport While Applying” service — allowing applicants to retain their passports after submission until a decision is made.

Address & Timing
• Enugu: Ground floor, Omedel Luxury Hotel, Link Road, Enugu
• Port Harcourt: Hall 1, First Floor, Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt
• Hours: 8 AM – 5 PM
