Ambassador Ibrahim Zanna, Acting High Commissioner, attended the National High-Level Roundtable Dialogue in support of the Global Fund’s Eighth Replenishment 2027-2029. The event, organized by the Rwanda NGO Forum, Rwandan Ministry of Health, and development partners, brought together government officials, diplomats, and stakeholders to secure commitments and discuss strategies for sustaining progress against HIV, TB, and malaria.
The dialogue aimed to strengthen health systems, mobilize resources, and ensure health equity. Dr. Muhammed Semakula, Permanent Secretary of the Rwandan Ministry of Health, and Dr. Brian Chirombo, WHO Country Representative, emphasized the importance of collective action.
Ambassador Zanna’s participation underscores diplomatic support for global health initiatives, aligning with efforts to achieve universal health coverage and sustainable development goals.
