Japan Donates Advanced Water Production Device to FMC Keffi

The Japanese Embassy has made a significant contribution to healthcare in Nasarawa State by donating a cutting-edge “Elixir High-Tech Water Production Device” and laboratory equipment to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Keffi. The device, capable of producing up to 1,000 liters of pure, sterile water daily, was handed over to the hospital on June 19, 2025, in a ceremony attended by Ambassador Suzuki Hideo and other dignitaries.

Key Features of the Device:

Atmospheric Water Generation: The device pulls pure water out of thin air, providing a reliable source of clean water for medical needs.

Advanced Purification Technology: The Elixir device uses state-of-the-art purification technology to ensure the water produced is safe for medical use.

Improved Patient Care: The device will significantly enhance the hospital’s ability to provide quality patient care, particularly in areas such as laboratory testing and medical procedures.²

The donation is expected to greatly benefit the hospital, which has been committed to providing adequate medical equipment and infrastructure for patient care. The new device will support the hospital’s efforts to deliver quality healthcare services, especially in areas such as:
