Nigeria joined the international community in congratulating the Hellenic Republic of Greece on its Independence Day Anniversary. The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, extended warm congratulations and best wishes to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, His Excellency, Giorgos Gerapetritis .
According to a press release signed by Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa, Spokesperson, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nigeria values the cordial relations between the two countries and remains committed to strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest These areas include;enhancing economic ties and promoting trade between the two nations, collaborating to ensure the safety and security of maritime borders, promoting cultural exchange and tourism between Nigeria and Greece and Fostering greater understanding and cooperation between the two nations
As Nigeria congratulates Greece on this joyous occasion, the country wishes the Greek government and people continued peace, progress, and success. This milestone marks a significant moment in the bilateral relations between Nigeria and Greece, and both countries look forward to deepening their partnership in the spirit of friendship and shared prosperity.
