Nigeria’s 65th post-independence anniversary was marked with a grand celebration in Guangzhou, China, showcasing the country’s rich cultural heritage and unity abroad. The event, jointly organized by the All Progressives Congress (APC) China Chapter and Tinubu Support Organization (TSO) China Chapter, brought together dignitaries, diplomats, business leaders, and cultural ambassadors from across China, Africa, and Nigeria.
The celebration featured vibrant cultural displays, traditional music, art exhibitions, and goodwill messages highlighting Nigeria’s journey of resilience and progress over six and a half decades. Cultural performances included Hausa-Fulani, Yoruba, Benin, Igbo, and Tiv traditional dances, as well as Chinese cultural performances such as the Monkey King and Face-Changing Masquerade.
