President Bola Tinubu has affirmed that Nigeria’s economic reforms will empower more youths with globally competitive skills, securing a stronger future for the country. He made this statement while receiving the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward, at the State House in Abuja on Monday.
Key Highlights of the Reforms includes ensuring no qualified student abandons university education due to financial constraints. To promotes digital access and boosts youth inclusion in national development. The process will also address security challenges and crime with notable progress and creates opportunities for participation, skill development, and growth
The President emphasized that youths remain central to Nigeria’s economic repositioning and must take ownership of the reforms. He also highlighted the importance of education in driving down poverty.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, chaired by Prince Edward, will recognize 320 Nigerian youths for their talents and efforts in pursuing their passions and contributing to national growth and development.
